Warrior Golf Signs Deana Caruso

LEWISTON, Idaho – The Lewis-Clark State College golf program signed their newest recruit over the weekend in Deana Caurso. No stranger to the program, she is the sister of current Warrior men's golfer, Devon Caruso.

"I think Deana is going to be a great addition to our women's team. She is a very raw, natural player. She hasn't had a lot of lessons or a lot of coaching so it will be very exciting to bring her in as a player."

Caruso has built a strong resume at Pomeroy High School while competing for the Pirates. As a freshman, she placed second individually at the State Golf Tournament and was District Champion her sophomore and junior year. She was named Golfer of the Year for both the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons and has been a captain since 2016.

A member of the honor roll since ninth grade, Caruso is also an All-League and All-State volleyball player at Pomeroy.
