RESULTS
LEWISTON, Idaho - No. 20 LC State Women's Golf moved into second place with a strong round on day two of the 2026 Cascade Conference Golf Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, on Tuesday at the Lewiston Golf and Country Club. The Warriors shot 15 strokes better than the previous round, led by
Taylor Mire's best round of her career.
The Warrior women hold a three-stroke lead over the third-place team in No. 22 Oregon Tech with one round to play.
"A great bounce back day for the women. They persevered after a rough round yesterday," coach
Zach Anderson said. "It was a solid reset last night to allow us to go out there and do what we did today. A chance to finish strong tomorrow and we are up for it."
Freshman Mire led the Warriors in day two of competition. She shot a career-best 1-over, 73, to move her into a tie for seventh place with teammate
Isabella Barquet. Barquet shot 5-over, 77, in round two.
Sophomore
Giulia Belfontali shot 2-over, 74, through her second 18 holes. She shaved six strokes off her first round to climb to 10
th place overall through 36 holes.
Dallis Shockey shot 3-over par, 75, in a round that was five strokes better than her first-round total. Her score on the day moved her up two spots into a tie for 10
th place.
Jane Barry shot 8-over, 80, in round two, which was a four-stroke improvement from her round one total. She heads into the final round in a tie for 20
th place.
UP NEXT
The Warrior women compete in the final day of competition in the CCC tournament at the Lewiston Golf and Country Club on Wednesday. Teams will tee off beginning at 8 a.m.
