LEWISTON, Idaho – After a solid weekend for Warrior Athletics, two student-athletes were voted conference players of the week.
Travis Yenor of No. 7 Lewis-Clark State Men's Basketball averaged over 25 points per game and helped the Warriors clinch the regular-season championship to earn Frontier Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Jack Johnson had another monster week for No. 21 LC State Baseball, batting .529 and slugging 1.118 with two home runs and six RBI to earn Cascade Conference Baseball Player of the Week.
TRAVIS YENOR – MEN'S BASKETBALL
Yenor averaged 25.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 19-for-35 from the floor and 9-for-16 from 3-point range last weekend. He scored 29 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the conference championship clinching victory over Rocky Mountain College on Thursday, and his efficient scoring helped LC State finish with the best regular-season record in program history (27-3).
"Travis had a huge road trip for us as he was a key piece to us winning the conference championship outright," coach
Austin Johnson said. "He shot the ball at a high level and scored in a variety of ways. He was always ready when we needed him most throughout the games.
The Warriors start the Frontier Conference Tournament on Friday with a semifinal matchup home. LC State received a first-round bye as the top seed and will face the lowest remaining seed after Tuesday's quarterfinal games.
JACK JOHNSON – BASEBALL
Johnson put together another dominant week at the plate to help LC State sweep the College of Idaho. The senior hit .529 (9-for-17) and slugged 1.118 with 19 total bases. He hit two home runs, two doubles and a triple while stretching his hitting streak to 16 games. Johnson knocked in six runs while also scoring six. He had two three-hit games in the four-game series.

Jake Taylor said. "He continues to be consistent at the plate and play very good defense in the field."
LC State Baseball begins a four-game set against Oregon Tech on Saturday with a doubleheader starting at noon.
