CORVALLIS, Oregon –The Cascade Conference announced a total of 199 student-athletes on winter teams (men's and women's basketball and men's and women's wrestling) that earned U.S. Bank Academic All-CCC honors, and 15 Warriors garnered recognition.
The men were represented by five student-athletes with Jake Albright, Hodges Bailey, Trystan Bradley, Braeden Wilson and Travis Yenor all earning the honor.
"I am extremely proud of these individuals," men's coach Austin Johnson said. "We strive to have a program that achieves at a high level on and off the court and this group of young men embody that tremendously. Despite all the chaos and distractions of the last academic year, this group and our team as a whole have stayed focused and made great strides academically."
10 Warrior women earned recognition: Kiara Burlage, Jansen Edmiston, Abby Farmer, Abbie Johnson, Sara Muehlhausen, Rachel Schroeder, Heidi Sellmann, Peyton Souvenir, Alexis Sykora and Madeline Weaver.
"We are extremely proud of our student-athletes and their commitment to excellence," women's coach Brian Orr said.
To earn recognition as a CCC scholar-athlete, a student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 and be at least a sophomore in standing.
