2022 LC State Baseball Schedule

LEWISTON, Idaho – The 2022 Lewis-Clark State Baseball schedule is now live on lcwarriors.com. The fourth-ranked Warriors open the season on Jan. 27 at Westmont as part of a trip down south. The home opener is slated for Feb. 12 against NCAA Division III Whitworth.
 
"We are excited to kick off our 2022 campaign playing against great competition in California and Arizona," Head Coach Jake Taylor said. "We will then return and compete at Harris Field against DIII and DII opponents before we begin Cascade Conference play."
 
Cascade Conference play will have a little different look this year as Bushnell becomes the seventh school to compete in baseball. British Columbia will also return to play after a hiatus last season.
 
"With the addition of Bushnell to the Cascade Conference, we will no longer be required to play each team eight times," Taylor explained. "This year we will play Oregon Tech, British Columbia and Bushnell in only a four-game set. This will allow all teams to schedule non-conference games without exceeding the NAIA game maximum."
 
The Warriors were picked as the unanimous favorite to take the CCC title, and UBC was picked to finish second. Oregon Tech and Corban, who both advanced to the conference tournament last season, were picked to finish third and fourth, respectively.
 
After hosting Whitworth and NCAA DII Central Washington, LC State will open the conference season at home against Eastern Oregon on Feb. 26 and 27. UBC comes to Lewiston March 25-27 and LC will host Bushnell to close out the regular season on April 30-May 1.
 
The Cascade Conference Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, will be hosted by the top seed May 8-9. LC State will host and compete in an NAIA Opening Round May 14-18, and the 2022 Avista NAIA World Series will be held May 27-June 3. The Warriors will have to win their Opening Round to advance to the Series.
