LEWISTON, Idaho – Warrior Baseball will open the 2022 season as the No. 4 team in the NAIA, announced by the national office on Wednesday. LC State finished fourth at the 2021 Avista NAIA World Series and returns a strong core of talent.
Reigning NAIA National Champion Georgia Gwinnett claimed the top spot and all 19 first-place votes in the poll. Central Methodist (Mo.) is second and Southeastern (Fla.) claimed six more votes than LC to earn a No. 3 ranking. Tennessee Wesleyan rounded out the top five.
Lewis-Clark State's 2022 schedule will be released later this month.
