2021 NAIA BASEBALL ALL-AMERICANS

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced the 2021 NAIA Baseball All-America teams on Tuesday, and Warriors Brock Ephan and Aidan Nagle earned national recognition among the nation's best. Ephan finished off his career with a second-team nod, while Nagle was named honorable mention.
 
"Brock and Aidan both had special seasons this year," Head Coach Jake Taylor said. "Their leadership, commitment and work ethics were evident on a daily basis. To be honored at the national level is a fantastic accomplishment and well deserved."
 
Ephan capped his Warrior career as the Cascade Conference Player of the Year and a Second-Team All-American. The senior from Kaua'i, Hawaii led LC State in batting average (.406), slugging (.827) and on-base percentage (.508). He was the top Warrior home run hitter this season with 20, including two in the Avista NAIA World Series, and led the team in doubles (21) and RBI (82). Ephan was one of two Warriors to start all 50 games.
 
Nagle had a breakout year for the Warriors in 2021. The junior from Santa Rosa, Calif. was voted All-Cascade Conference and was second on the team in batting average (.384), slugging (.723) and home runs (13). Nagle tallied 19 doubles and was second on the team with 66 RBI. Both Nagle and Ephan had three stolen bases in three attempts.
