LEWISTON, Idaho – Jack Johnson became the latest Warrior to earn CoSIDA Academic All-District honors, and just the third LC State Baseball player to garner recognition in the program's history, announced by CoSIDA on Thursday.
 
"Jack is worthy of any and all recognition he receives," Head Coach Jake Taylor said. "Being voted CoSIDA Academic All-District is simply a testament to his character, commitment and diligence in becoming the best all-around person he can be. We are very proud and he deserves this great honor."
 
Johnson wrapped up his career at LC State with a 3.75 GPA in Accounting. The Seattle native was voted All-Cascade Conference after batting .342 on the season with eight home runs. He slugged .593 with a .445 on-base percentage, led the team with three triples and was second in doubles (20) and stolen bases (13). The senior carried a hitting streak into the 2021 season that ended at 22 games which is tied for the ninth-best by a Warrior.
 
In the 2021 Avista NAIA World Series, Johnson hit .429 and was second in the tournament with nine hits. He had three hits in a game twice during the week and was voted to the all-tournament team.
