Warrior Golf is in Arizona for its final tournament of the fall season. LC State is competing at the Ottawa Fall Invitational at Sterling Grove Golf Course in Surprise, Ariz. 

The field for both men and women features some of the top competition in the region, including host Ottawa (Ariz.), ranked No. 4 on the men’s side, and NCAA Division III powerhouse No. 7 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. On the women’s side, Ottawa is ranked No. 14.

VOLLEYBALL

LC Volleyball continues its homestand with two more conference matches this weekend as part of LC State’s Homecoming. The Warriors will take on the 23rd-ranked Raiders of Southern Oregon on Friday and the Hustlin’ Owls of Oregon Tech on Saturday. 

The Warriors are coming off of a strong weekend at home where they took down the RV Bushnell Beacons in four sets and then took the No. 5-ranked Corban Warriors to five sets. 

Dating back to 2011, the Warriors are 0-7 against the Raiders including a 3-0 loss to SOU earlier this season. It is a slightly different story for LC State against the Hustlin’ Owls as the Warriors are 3-5 dating back to 2018. Grecia Ung Enriquez and Lisi Langi each tallied 16 kills in the five-set victory over OIT earlier this season.

CROSS COUNTRY

Warrior Cross Country hosts the LC State Invitational on Saturday at the LC State Cross Country Trail in the Lewiston Orchards. The women’s race will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the men following at 11:30 a.m.
