LEWISTON, Idaho – LC State Men's Tennis picked up its first victory of the season on Friday with a 7-0 sweep of NCAA Division III Whitman. The Warriors split the day, falling to DI Seattle U in the evening match.
"This was a good eye opener for us to see a faster speed of the ball throughout the lineup," Head Coach
Kai Fong said. "We will see that brand of tennis against most of the DI teams this season. Our players want to perform at this level and they are willing to work for it. We will learn from every match that we play. Pretty much everyone got to play in the lineup today. It is important for each player to get some match time early in the season.
