NAIA MEN'S GOLF TOP 25
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Lewis-Clark State Men's Golf team is ranked in the top 20 in both the Golfstat rankings and the NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Poll released this week. Golfstat has the Warriors at No. 12, while the NAIA ranks LC at No. 16.
The Warriors defeated NCAA Division III Whitworth, ranked No. 19 in DIII, on Thursday at the Lewiston Golf and Country Club. LC finished fourth at its last tournament, the RMC Intercollegiate, that featured a number of schools in the NAIA's top 25.
Three Warriors are ranked in Golfstat's top 100 individually, with freshman
Kristof Panke leading the way at No. 29. He holds a scoring average of 77.71 and is the reigning Cascade Conference Golfer of the Week.
Jorgen Lie Viken sits at No. 91 and
Carlos Davila is No. 95.
LC State will compete at the WWU Wine Valley Invitational in Walla Walla on Monday and Tuesday.
