NAIA BASEBALL TOP 25
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The LC State Baseball team fell one spot to No. 4 in the latest NAIA Baseball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released on Wednesday. The Warriors opened Cascade Conference play with a sweep of British Columbia before splitting with Corban last weekend.

LC State recorded the longest winning streak in program history, with Friday's victory over Corban stretching the run to 28. The Warriors are now 35-3 overall and 6-2 in conference play.

The Warriors lead the NAIA in doubles (115). They second in runs scored (374), hits (440) total bases (727) extra-base hits (175) and ERA (2.79), third in RBI (344), fifth in strikeouts (370), and ninth in home runs (52), slugging percentage (.554) and batting average (.335).

Sam Linscott is third in the NAIA in hits (63) and fourth in runs scored (50).
Riley Way is seventh in runs scored (48) and ninth in hits (59).
Luke White is tied for eighth with 13 home runs and 52 RBI. Linscott and Way are tied for seventh in doubles (16).
Trent Sellers is seventh in wins (8) and eighth in the NAIA in ERA (1.24).

LC State continues Cascade Conference play this weekend at Eastern Oregon. The four-game set is scheduled to start on Friday at 2 p.m. in La Grande.
