WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

The. No 10 Warrior women open play in Sioux City, Iowa, on Monday with a 6 p.m. PT matchup with No. 7 Clarke (Iowa) in the Round of 16. A full preview of the matchup can be found HERE.

Fans can watch the game at MJ Barleyhoppers. LC State staff will have giveaways on hand at the watch party. 

WOMEN'S TENNIS

LC State Women’s Tennis is back in action this week on the road against a pair of NCAA Division III opponents. The Warriors are 7-7 on the season after a 3-2 trip to Louisiana.

LC will start its week on Thursday at Lewis & Clark College in Portland at 5 p.m. The Warriors then head to Forest Grove for a matchup with Pacific on Friday at 2 p.m.

TRACK & FIELD

Warrior Track and Field begins the 2023 indoor season on March 18 at the Sam Adams Classic in Spokane. LC State came home from indoor nationals with four All-Americans and an NAIA National Champion. Jennah Carpenter will look to defend her title in the outdoor version of the high jump. 

MEN'S TENNIS

The Warriors men head to Moscow for a match against the NCAA Division I Idaho Vandals on Saturday. The contest is slated for noon. LC is 6-8 on the season after dropping a pair to DI Montana on Sunday. The Warriors are 0-10 against Idaho dating back to 2012. 

BASEBALL

After a weekend off, No. 3 LC State Baseball will open Cascade Conference play against Corban at Harris Field on Saturday. The Corban Warriors were the only team to take two games from LC State in the regular season in 2022, but LC took the season series 6-2. 

LC State is 75-9 against Corban dating back to 2009. The LC State Warriors outscored the Corban Warriors 48-16 last season and did not allow more than four runs in a game. Three of the victories came via shutout. 

The LC Warriors lead the CCC on batting average (.315), slugging (.539) and on-base percentage (.435). Nick Seamons is the conference leader in slugging (.815) and home runs (6).
