TRACK & FIELD

Warrior Track and Field will compete in its second meet of the outdoor season at the Oregon Preview at Hayward Field. A select group of LC State student-athletes will participate in the competitive meet at one of track and field’s premier venues.

“Excited to head to Eugene,” Head Coach Mike Collins said. “Truly one of the premier venues in the world and a privilege to compete there. I know that the kids that are accepted will appreciate the opportunity and we hope they will make the most of it with more conference and national qualifiers.”

LC State earned three national-qualifying marks over the weekend at the Sam Adams Classic. Kea Stieglitz (javelin) and Madigan Kelly (400m hurdles) hit A standards while Geraldin Correa ran a provisional time in the 800m.

Live results will be available for the two-day meet in Eugene.

“We have a lot of work this week in practice to attain a level of consistency,” Head Coach Jake Taylor said.
