CORVALLIS, Ore. – LC State Baseball relief pitcher Cameron Smith has been a staple in the bullpen over the last five seasons, and for his efforts over the weekend, the Arlington, Wash., native was voted the Rize Laboratory Cascade Conference Pitcher of the Week.
 
Smith tossed 4.1 innings of shutout baseball over the weekend, all in relief. The LC State closer earned his fourth save of the season in game one against Oregon Tech with five strikeouts in four innings. He finished the weekend with a perfect ERA and WHIP of 0.69. He did not walk a batter.
 
This is the first weekly honor of Smith's career.
