The Warrior women are headed to San Antonio this week for the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament, hosted by Our Lady of the Lake (Texas). More information on the matches will be available later this week. 

LC State Tennis will host Treasure Valley CC on April 26 in a pair of non-counting matches. The contests will not count towards the team records but will count for individual player records. The women will take on the Chukars at 2 p.m. with the men at 6 p.m.

BASEBALL

No. 9 LC State Baseball heads into the final weekend of the regular season with a shot at the regular-season conference title on the line. The Warriors need just two wins over Bushnell to clinch the top seed in the Cascade Conference postseason tournament outright after sweeping UBC in Vancouver, B.C. LC State has won 12 straight. 

“We are excited to be at home this weekend to finish the regular season conference schedule,” Head Coach Jake Taylor said. “We will need to be ready to match the intensity of a very good Bushnell squad.”

The Warriors (31-9, 17-3) struggled against Bushnell (25-20, 12-8) earlier this season in Eugene when the Beacons took the series 3-1. CCC play started after that series and the Warriors have lost just three games total since. LC State is 7-4 against Bushnell dating back to 2022 when the Beacon program started.

Bushnell leads the conference in saves (14).

LC State leads the CCC in slugging (.496) and home runs (54). On the mound, the Warriors are the top team in ERA (4.27), wins (31) and batters struck out looking (121). Jack Sheward ranks at the top in on-base percentage (.491), Carter Booth leads in doubles (21) and Dominic Signorelli is at the top of the CCC in home runs (14) and walks (34). Shane Spencer leads the conference in opposing batting average (.215).
