VOLLEYBALL
Last week was an eventful one for No. 17 LC State Volleyball as the Warriors joined the NAIA Top 25 for the first time since 2019 and improved to 9-0 on the season. LC State defeated The Evergreen State College (Wash.) and (RV) Northwest (Wash.) for a 6-0 Cascade Conference record and is one of two undefeated teams left in the best conference in the NAIA. Only one undefeated team will be left after Friday, however, when the Warriors take on top-ranked Eastern Oregon at home to start a big weekend.
LC State will host the 2025 Fall Frenzy & Family Weekend, presented by Sparklight, Sept. 22-25. Dance, cheer, volleyball and cross country will represent Warrior Athletics at a pep rally on Tuesday at 5:15 p.m. in the SUB Amphitheater, and various LC State teams will be on hand to sign posters on Friday at 4 p.m. at Warrior FanFest between the P1FCU Activity Center and Harris Field. Warrior Volleyball hosts No. 1 EOU at 6 p.m. Sparklight is also the sponsor of Friday’s volleyball match.
P1FCU will sponsor Saturday’s 1K Day for LC State Volleyball as the Warriors host No. 12 College of Idaho. LC State has a goal to pack the P1FCU Activity Center with 1,000 fans for the match. P1FCU will hand out items before and during the match and students will have the opportunity to win scholarships. Group tickets are available for groups of 10 or more at lcwarriors.com/tickets.
