NAIA TOP 25
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The women of LC State Golf moved up one spot in the NAIA Coaches Poll to No. 18 ahead of the final tournament of the regular season. The Warriors had a standout performance at the Roadrunner Spring Invitational in Dalton, Ga., and were rewarded with their highest ranking since 2014.
LC State earned a seventh-place finish at one of the most competitive tournaments in the NAIA to close out non-conference play, led by
Giulia Belfontali in a tie for seventh individually. The Warriors defeated then-No. 9 Indiana Wesleyan and No. 18 Rocky Mountain (Mont.) in the process and were just two strokes behind No. 8 Loyola (La.).
Around the Cascade Conference, British Columbia fell one spot to No. 4 and Oregon Tech remained No. 22.
UP NEXT
LC State closes out the regular season at the Tournament of Knights Apr. 13-14 in Portland. The tournament will count towards CCC standings.
