PORTLAND, Ore. - LC State Men's Golf concluded the regular season with a second-place finish at the Tournament of Knights on Tuesday, and junior

Adam Lovatt.
LC State shot 7-under to post the best third round of any team in the field. The Warriors were only two strokes off the first-place team No. 16 British Columbia.
"Couldn't quite get it done today but it was fun to be in that battle with UBC. Down 11 shots with six holes left and the men fought back," coach
Zach Anderson said. "Really proud of Luke finally breaking through to get that first collegiate victory. Been close so many times and it was great to witness him brush the nerves aside down the stretch to get it done. Adam also carried us big time today. For a freshman to be doing what he is doing makes me even more excited for his future."
West claimed his first collegiate tournament win with a 3-under, 70 in round three. His final round score was enough for him to hold on to his day-one lead as he finished the tournament 6-under (70- 73-70).
