NAIA TOP 25
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – LC State Baseball held steady at No. 5 in the latest NAIA coaches poll, released by the national office on Wednesday. The Warriors enter the final two weeks of the regular season with a 31-4 overall record and sit in first place in the Cascade Conference.

The Warriors continue to roll under coach Jeremiah Robbins, who recently reached the 300-win milestone and now holds a 301-75 record at the helm of the program. LC State leads the nation with a 2.91 team ERA, backed by a pitching staff anchored by Landon Webb (2.18 ERA) and Jordan Lennartson (0.78 ERA with 4 saves). Offensively, the lineup has been just as effective, led by Jackson Jaha, who leads the nation with a .484 batting average, along with Brandon Nguyen (.387 AVG, 9 home runs, 36 RBI).

Since the last poll, LC State is 5-1 with wins over (RV) British Columbia and Eastern Oregon. The Warriors clinched a spot in the CCC postseason tournament and hold a lead over UBC in the standings, and the regular season champion will host the conference tournament.

Around the CCC, UBC is the only other team receiving votes.

The Warriors have 10 games remaining on the regular season schedule with four-game sets against Bushnell (Ore.) and Warner Pacific (Ore.), as well as a makeup doubleheader at Eastern Oregon after rain adjusted the series last weekend.

UP NEXT
LC State heads to Eugene this weekend for a four-game series at Bushnell. The series will be played in two doubleheaders Apr. 17-18.
