RESULTS
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – LC State Baseball moved up one spot to No. 4 in the final NAIA Top 25 poll of the season and open postseason play this weekend at home. The Warriors earned a share of the regular season Cascade Conference title and will host the 2026 Cascade Conference Baseball Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, May 1-4.
LC State finished the regular season with a 38-7 record and went 30-7 in CCC play. The Warriors split the CCC title with British Columbia but won the tiebreaker with a 4-3 season series win over the Thunderbirds.
Warrior pitching leads the NAIA in ERA (3.25) and WHIP (1.21) and is the top team in the Cascade Conference in batting average (.319), on-base percentage (.427) and slugging (.520).
Individually,
Jackson Jaha leads the conference in batting average (.429), on-base percentage (.535) and slugging percentage (.762).
Izzy Madariaga is second in RBI (49) and fourth in batting average (.382), and
Brandon Nguyen is fifth in home runs with 12.
Landon Webb has the top ERA in the CCC at 2.47 and leads in WHIP (0.99).
Evan Canfield is third in wins (7) and fifth in strikeouts (61), and
Jordan Lennartson is second in saves with five.
Around the CCC, UBC moved into the Top 25 at No. 24.

The Warriors and Thunderbirds headline the CCC tournament that will be held at Harris Field this weekend. LC State will face the winner of Bushnell (Ore.) and Oregon Tech on Friday at 6 p.m.
