CORVALLIS, Ore. – After a successful Cascade Conference season, nine members of the LC State Baseball team earned postseason honors, announced by the conference office on Monday. Izzy Madariaga, Brandon Nguyen, Mason Goodson, Landon Webb and Jordan Lennartson each earned First-Team All-Cascade Conference honors, Bulla Ephan and Jace Taylor were voted All-CCC Honorable Mention, Ephan and Bryce Johnson earned CCC Gold Gloves and Jeremiah Robbins was tabbed the CCC Coach of the Year.

"We are happy for the players that were recognized by the coaches in the league," Robbins said. "All of them are great teammates and they work extremely hard. They, along with the rest of the team, are doing things the Warrior Way."

Robbins returned to the helm of the Warriors and his impact was immediate. After a seven-year hiatus, the LC State Hall of Fame coach rejoined the program and guided the team to the Cascade Conference regular season and tournament titles. Robbins earned his 300th victory as the head coach at LC State and the Warriors finished the regular season with a record of 38-7, 30-7 in CCC play. LC State led the NAIA all season in ERA and WHIP and were consistently among the leaders in offensive categories as well.

Madariaga was one of the most consistent hitters in the CCC this season and ranks in the top five in multiple offensive categories. The senior is second in the conference in RBI (50), fourth in batting average (.381) and fifth in on-base percentage (.500). Madariaga tallied 13 doubles and 10 home runs ahead of the national tournament and is the lone Warrior to have appeared in all 48 games so far in 2026.

Nguyen took LC State by storm in his first season in Lewiston and led the team in home runs with 12. The junior tied for fourth in the CCC in long balls and leads LC State in doubles (16) and total bases (113). Nguyen is active on the base paths with 10 stolen bases. He was voted the CCC Player of the Week once during the season and was named the LCSPYs Newcomer of the Year by his peers.

Goodson leads CCC starting pitchers in ERA this season at 2.09 and has a 1.03 WHIP. The junior has 47 strikeouts through 51.2 innings and has held opposing hitters to a .196 batting average.

In his senior season, Webb leads the Cascade Conference in WHIP (0.99) and is second in the ERA to Goodson with a 2.47. He has walked just eight batters in 47.1 innings and hasn't had a wild pitch in 2026.

Another stellar newcomer this season, Lennartson leads the CCC in saves this season with six. He has a 1.20 ERA and 0.90 WHIP with 28 strikeouts in 30 innings. He has allowed just four earned runs and walked eight batters with a .181 opponent batting average.

Taylor has been lights out on the mound as both a starter and reliever. The senior has a 0.93 ERA and 1.17 WHIP with 41 strikeouts in 29 innings pitched.

Ephan was second in the conference in caught-stealing percentage (27.6%) and has just one error in 163 total chances. The senior had 19 assists and has thrown out eight would-be base stealers. At the plate, Ephan is batting .333 with two home runs and 15 runs driven in. He also earned the conference Gold Glove behind the plate in 2025.

Johnson earned his first CCC Gold Glove with one error committed in 112 total chances. He has seven assists and 104 putouts.
