LEWISTON, Idaho – LC State Men's Basketball announced the addition of Lewiston High School standout Royce Fisher for the 2026-27 season. The local product helped the Bengals to a 5A State Runner-Up finish and was named the Idaho 5A State Player of the Year.
 
"We are super excited to add Royce to our program," coach Austin Johnson said. "He is somebody who has been around our program for many years and takes a lot of pride in representing this community. The legacy he leaves behind at LHS is second to none and we are going to push him hard to leave a similar legacy here at LC."
 
Fisher completed his standout career at Lewiston High School in 2026 as one of the best players in the state of Idaho. He averaged 25 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game as a senior and guided LHS to back-to-back Inland Empire League titles. He was voted First-Team All-State and the IEL Most Valuable Player.
 
"Royce brings positional size and a can really space the floor," Johnson added. "He adds to winning and has performed at a high level in both high school and the AAU circuit with Idaho Select. He is a quick learner and hard worker which will serve us well as he begins his college career. As he adjusts to the college game, we expect him to be an impact player and help continue to make the LC basketball program successful on and off the court."
