Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

Warriors fall in four

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Lewis-Clark State's volleyball team won the first set of its Frontier Conference volleyball match at the University of Providence but couldn't keep pace in falling 25-20, 16-25, 20-25, 23-25 Friday night.

Coach LaToya Harris-Alexander praised the play of Justine Cota Culp, Rachel Gregg and Maya Williamson, who led the offensive attack for the Warriors (6-10, 1-4). Cota Culp had 12 kills, Williamson added 10 and Gregg contributed nine.

"Our middles did great," she said. "They have been consistent all year long."

Errors, however, continued to plague the Warriors elsewhere on the court with 10 service errors and six receiving errors. Collectively, they hit just .195.

LC travels to Havre for a Saturday afternoon match against MSU-Northern. The Skylights are 8-11, 2-3 after a 3-0 loss to 17th ranked Montana Tech Friday.
