LEWISTON, Idaho – The matchups are set for the quarterfinal round of the 2018-19 Frontier Conference Playoffs. Montana Western clinched a first-round bye after claiming the regular-season conference championship and is the first seed. Seeding for the playoffs is as follows:

The Warriors (9-9, 19-10)
The No. 17 Lewis-Clark State women's basketball team faced some struggles at the end of the regular season after dropping the final three games. The Warriors took down Montana Western to kick off the final two weeks of the season.
LC's trio of seniors have put together stellar campaigns in their final seasons as Warriors.
Jossilyn Blackman leads the team in both scoring (12.8 points per game) and rebounding (7.7 rebounds per game). Blackman, along with fellow senior
Hailey Turner both joined the 1,000-point this season. Turner is second on the team in scoring (10.1 points per game) and leads the conference with 28 blocked shots and blocks per game (1.00).
Cali Moscrip has provided a spark for the Warriors in the last few weeks. The Lewiston native has twice scored 23 points in a game this season, a career-high for her and season-high for the team, and leads the team in assists with 100.
The Opponent
Quarterfinals – Feb. 26 – Providence Argonauts (7-11, 18-12)
In a rematch of the regular-season finale, the Warriors will take on the No. 23 Argonauts. Seeded fifth, the Argos took one of the three meetings between the two teams. The Warriors won both January meetings (65-63 and 88-64), and Providence earned the win in the last game of the season (78-66).
The Argos are led by Emiliee Maldonado, the conference leader in assists with 153. The sophomore is second in the conference in scoring, averaging 15.9 points per game. Parker Esary ranks fourth in the Frontier in scoring with 13.5 points per game and leads in field goal percentage (.556), total rebounds (288) and rebounds per game (9.93).
Esary's 4.76 offensive rebounds per game are third-best in NAIA DI. As a team, the Argos rank second in the nation in rebound defense (30.40) and seventh in rebound margin (10.40).

The two teams will go head-to-head on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Activity Center. Tickets are on sale now in the LC Athletics Ticket Office.
The winner of Tuesday's game will advance to play in Friday's Frontier Conference Semifinal. The two highest remaining seeds will host the two lowest remaining seeds at 7 p.m. local time. The Championship Game will be hosted by the highest remaining seeded school on Monday, Mar. 4 at 7 p.m. local time.
