LEWISTON, Idaho – LC State Women's Basketball has already added to its depth with its first signee from the Class of 2027. Zillah High School's June Fiander will join the Warriors in the fall of 2027.
 
"We are thrilled to have June Fiander join our Warrior Basketball team," coach Caelyn Orlandi said. "What I love about June is her competitive drive and will to win. When the stage is big, that is when June plays best. She scored 25 points in her state championship game last season and performed so incredibly well. She can pressure the ball the length of the court, can score at all three levels and makes great decisions on the court."
 
Fiander enters her senior season at Zillah High School this fall after helping her team to a State title last season. The point guard averaged 11.6 points per game with 70 assists and 50 steals. She shot 43.8% from the field and was voted First-Team All-State. She plays club basketball for the Northwest Blazers and helped the team to a third-place finish at UUA nationals.
 
"She is always in the gym working on her game and I know we added an individual who is going to continually find ways to be better for herself and for her teammates," Orlandi added. "I know she is going to make us better and contribute immediately to our teams academic and athletic success."
