LEWISTON, Idaho – Elise Kingston is the third future Warrior from the class of 2027 to join LC State Women's Basketball, coach Caelyn Orlandi announced. The guard from Selah, Wash., will head to Lewiston for the 2027-28 season.
 
"We are very excited Elise is joining our Warrior Family," Orlandi said. "She is a highly sought-after player and we feel very honored she chose to continue her career with us. She is an excellent student, a high character individual and will represent LC Women's Basketball perfectly."
 
Kingston serves as a team captain at Selah High School and is a three-time all-league honoree. She surpassed the 1,000-point mark for her career as a junior and was named an SWX All-Star twice. Kingston was a member of the Washington All-State game the last two seasons.
 
"Elise is the type of player that impacts every aspect of the game when she is on the court," Orlandi explained. "She makes the right decisions, lets the game come to her and gives her 100% effort when she is on the court. Elise cuts extremely well to the basket, defends at a high level and has a beautiful turn around jump shot. She is the type of player you always want on the court."
 
Kingston also competes in track and field and cross country and is heavily involved on campus. She participates in DECA and is a member of the National Honor Society.
 
"I chose LC State because of the environment," Kingston said. "I had such a great visit and all of the people I met including the coaches, players and professors were all so welcoming and made me feel wanted."
