CORVALLIS, Ore. – Maddie Holm and the Warrior women wrapped up a long road trip with three victories last week to improve to 6-0 on the season, and Holm was voted the Cascade Conference WVT Laboratory Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her contributions.
 
The sophomore forward led LC in scoring in all three games, with 17 points against Walla Walla, 13 in the contest with William Jessup, and a career-high 22 on Saturday versus Pacific Union. She notched two double-doubles in the process and now has four through the first six games.
 
In Saturday's 113-39 victory over PUC, the fourth-most points scored by LC in a single game, the Saint Helens, Ore., native was 9-for-11 (.818) from the field and was a perfect 4-for-4 from 3-point range. She finished the weekend with two blocks, five steals, eight assists, and averaged 17.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.
 
The Warriors host Northwest and Evergreen State this weekend in the first full weekend of Cascade Conference play. LC will take on Northwest on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and Evergreen State on Saturday at 3 p.m. Tickets and streaming packages are available at lcwarriors.com.
