CORVALLIS, Ore. – Lewis-Clark State found success on the volleyball court and golf course this past week, and was rewarded with a pair of Cascade Conference WVT Laboratory Players of the Week. Volleyball's Jada Wyms was voted the conference's Attacker of the Week, while golfer Kristof Panke earned Golfer of the Week honors.
 
Wyms, a native of West Haven, Utah, helped LC State Volleyball to two wins last weekend to extend the team's winning streak to five matches. The middle blocker tallied a season-high 18 kills in a four-set victory over Warner Pacific with a .364 attack percentage and added six blocks. She totaled seven more kills at an even better attack percentage of .467 in Saturday's sweep of Multnomah University.
 
Panke, a freshman from Davenport, Wash., led the Warriors at the Saint Martin's Invitational, finishing 11th out of 66 golfers. He posted a 216 (73-71-72) three-round score and helped LC State to a third-place finish as a team at the NCAA Division II tournament.
