NAIA TOP 25
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – LC State Volleyball ended its historic 2025 season on the national stage in Sioux City and earned a spot in the top 20 of the NAIA Women's Volleyball Postseason Poll, released on Wednesday. The Warriors checked in at No. 19 after a 2-1 record in the national tournament.
Warrior Volleyball punched its ticket to the national tournament for the first time since 2011 and continued its streak of earning at least one victory in each of the program's 13 appearances in the tournament. LC State traveled to (RV) Taylor (Ind.) in the Opening Round for a 3-1 win. After a loss to No. 2 Northwestern (Iowa) to start pool play, the Warriors defeated No. 17 Aquinas (Mich.) in a thrilling reverse sweep in Sioux City.
LC State had four Warriors earn All-Cascade Conference honors in
Juliauna Forgach Aguilar,
Ella Stosich,
Teagan Scott and
Karissa Lindner. Forgach Aguilar was later voted AVCA First-Team All-West Region and an NAIA Third-Team All-American.
The Warriors finished the season with a 17-10 record overall and 12-8 in Cascade Conference play. LC State finished in the top half of the toughest conference in the NAIA. The CCC, which sent seven teams to the national tournament, finished with five teams in the top 25. Eastern Oregon led the way at No. 3, followed by No. 5 Corban (Ore.), No. 15 Bushnell (Ore), No. 19 LC State and No. 20 College of Idaho. Northwest (Wash.), Southern Oregon and Walla Walla (Wash.) also received votes.
