NAIA TOP 25
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Warrior women made the largest jump of any team in the NAIA Top 25 after a 6-0 start to the 2026 season. The Warriors moved up 11 spots to No. 12 and are one of just three teams in the Top 25 with an undefeated record so far this season. LC State wrapped up a perfect non-conference slate, highlighted by a victory over then-No. 6 Providence (Mont.).
The Warriors have made their presence known with the best kills per set (14.14) and assists per set (13.18) rates in the NAIA. LC State has five players with at least 2.20 kills per set, led by
Mikale Roy with 3.50. All three of the Warrior setters are averaging at least 4.10 assists per set.
LC State went 4-0 at the Big Sky Challenge against Williams Baptist (Ark.), IU East (Ind.), Carroll (Mont.) and Providence. The Warriors wrapped up non-conference play with two sweeps of MSU-Northern at the Hells Canyon Grand Invitational.
Around the Cascade Conference, Eastern Oregon moved up to No. 1 and Corban (Ore.) improved to No. 4. College of Idaho climbed to No. 9 and LC State is tied for 12
th with Aquinas (Mich.). Southern Oregon, who LC State faces this weekend, moved to No. 18. Bushnell (Ore.) fell out of the Top 25 and is receiving votes.
The Warriors open CCC play this weekend with the trip to SOU and Oregon Tech.
