LEWISTON, Idaho – After a historic 2025 campaign
, LC State Volleyball will compete in seven spring scrimmages against some of the region's top teams. The Warriors will travel to Walla Walla and Cheney to face a variety of competition before an intersquad scrimmage to close out the spring.
"We've seen tremendous growth from our returners this spring, both in their individual development and in how they compete together as a team," coach Katie Palmer said. "These scrimmages are an exciting opportunity for our fans to get an early look at the progress we've made and the identity we're building."
The Warriors open the spring schedule at Whitman on Apr. 11 against NCAA Division I Washington State and Eastern Washington, DIII Whitman and Cascade Conference opponent Eastern Oregon. Round robin play will begin at 11 a.m. and each match will be two sets to 25 points or 60 minutes total.
On Apr. 18, LC State will head to EWU to face the Eagles, DII Central Washington and NJCAA North Idaho College in a round robin format.
LC State will host its lone spring event in the Blue vs. Red intrasquad scrimmage on May 8 at 6 p.m. in the P1FCU Activity Center. The Warrior roster includes all 16 returners from the fall.
All scrimmages are free and open to the public.
