LEWISTON, Idaho – The No. 19 Warriors escaped a tight battle with eighth-seeded College of Idaho on Tuesday to advance to the semifinal round of the Cascade Conference Championship, presented by U.S. Bank.

LC State will take on fourth-seeded Bushnell on Friday night after taking both matchups during the regular season. The Warriors defeated the Beacons, picked to finish first in the preseason poll, by scores of 63-59 and 69-66.

Tickets are on sale now for the CCC semifinal matchup at lcwarriors.com/tickets, and a stream package is also available at lcwarriors.com/watch. Season passes are not valid for the postseason.

THE No. 19 WARRIORS (26-3, 19-3) – No. 1 seed
The Warrior women fought their way past C of I after trailing through the first three quarters. LC stepped up in the fourth to outscore the Yotes 21-17. Callie Stevens led the Warriors with 19 points, while Sara Muehlhausen tallied 15 with nine rebounds.

Stevens has headlined the Warriors all season and enters the tournament as the CCC's leading scorer. At 19.0 points per game, Stevens is averaging three points more than the second-best scorer in the conference. She is the top 3-point shooter in the CCC, with 3.0 made per game and 82 total, and a .416 percentage from behind the 3-point line.

Maddie Holm, the other half of the stellar sophomore duo, leads the conference in rebounding with 10.4 per game. She is averaging a double-double with 12.0 points per game, and is a solid 3-point shooter with a .383 3-point percentage. She leads the team in steals with 45 on the season.

Another key piece to LC's puzzle this season has been junior Muehlhausen. The 6-3 post player has blocked a conference-best 59 shots this season, placing her fifth all-time for LC in a single season. Her eight blocks at Evergreen State is a single-game record. Hannah Broyles has been a consistent scorer for the Warriors all year with 9.3 points per game. Broyles, Muehlhausen and Stevens are the only three Warriors to have started all 27 games.

LC State currently leads the CCC in scoring (74.0), scoring margin (+15.7), field goal percentage defense (.336), 3-point percentage defense (.272), blocked shots per game (4.1), assist/turnover ratio (1.3) and 3-pointers made per game (7.7).

THE BEACONS (19-12, 15-7) – No. 4 seed
Bushnell took down fifth-seeded Oregon Tech in overtime in Eugene on Tuesday. The Beacons had two players score over 20 points, with Morgan McKinney leads the team with 24 and Libby Mathis adding 23. McKinney notched a double-double with 14 rebounds.

The Beacons are in the CCC's top three in 3-point percentage (.315), 3-pointers made per game (7.4), assists per game (16.0) and assist/turnover ratio (1.0). BU's Bella Pedrojetti leads the conference in 3-point percentage (.426).

Bushnell has three players averaging double-digits points, led by 15.0 from Aspen Slifka. McKinney averages 13.3 and is the team's leading rebounder at 6.8 per game, and Pedrojetti adds 10.6 per game.

BU picked up three forfeit victories during the season due to CCC Covid protocols.
