LUKE WHITE– BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

White had a record-setting weekend at the plate to help the No. 3 Warriors to a sweep of UBC to begin Cascade Conference play. The senior from Lewiston became the first Warrior since current head coach Jake Taylor in 1993 to hit two home runs in the same inning, and then became the first LC State player to homer in four straight at-bats. White hammered four home runs and two doubles for a 1.533 slugging percentage, tallied nine hits in 15 at-bats (.600) and knocked in 14 runs.

This is the first weekly honor of White’s career. He is the fifth different LC position player to earn the award this season.

The Warriors are at Corban this weekend for a four-game Cascade Conference series.
