LEWISTON, Idaho – Five Lewis-Clark State student-athletes earned CoSIDA Academic All-District honors in the at-large category, announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America on Thursday.

Devon Caruso and
Deana Caruso represented LC State Golf, while
Kyla Collier and
William Bruchard represented Warrior Tennis.
The 2021‐22 Academic All‐District At-Large Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
The Caruso siblings each earned the honor for the first times as Warriors. Devon, a senior majoring in Accounting, currently holds a 3.85 GPA and was named to the All-Cascade Conference team. He picked up the first victory of his career at the Warrior Invitational in the fall. Deana also earned her first win this season at the WWU Wine Valley Invitational. The junior Graphics Communications major maintains a 3.62 GPA. Davila earned the second CoSIDA honor of his career after finishing the season as an all-conference honoree. He is majoring in Sports Administration and holds a 3.71 GPA.
Bruchard and Collier both repeated with the award, with Bruchard earning it for a third straight year and Collier for a second time. Bruchard capped his career with 10 doubles wins and 10 singles victories and graduated with a 3.86 GPA in Biology. Collier graduated with a 4.00 GPA in Exercise Science and earned five singles and five doubles wins in her final season.
The five join volleyball's Channa Hart, men's basketball's Al Sommerfield, and baseball's Luke White and Joe Ball as CoSIDA Academic All-District honorees this school year.
NAIA District 4 covers 15 western states and Canada. Nominees must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 and be a key starter or reserve. They must be at least a sophomore in standing and have been at LC State for at least one calendar year.
