"We are extremely proud of our student-athletes for their hard work in the classroom," LC State Athletic Director Brooke Henze said. "This is a direct reflection of our coaches and the emphasis they put on education."

34 women and 28 men earned the honor on behalf of LC State, with women's cross country/track and field leading the way with 16 award winners. Baseball and men's cross country/track and field each brought home nine to lead the men's teams.
