LEWISTON, Idaho – Head Coach Mike Collins announced the addition of Haylee Appleford to the 2024 LC Stat Track and Field roster. The thrower hails from Asotin, Wash., and attends Asotin High School.
 
"We are excited about adding Haylee to our Warrior Family," Collins said. "She is the epitome of the type of kid we want in our program. Great kid, great student, great athlete, enjoyable to be around, hard worker, and I could go on. Even more so, we want the best and brightest regional kids and she is right here in our back yard and we are glad she is staying home. Looking forward to seeing her accomplish great things ahead."
 
Appleford helped the Panthers to a league title in track and field in 2021 and took home the individual league title in the shot put and discus each of the last two seasons. She holds career-bests of 38-feet in the shot put and 118-feet, 6-inches in the discus. Appleford also competes on the basketball and volleyball teams and helped each team to a state academic title.
