NAIA BASEBALL TOP 25
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Lewis-Clark State Baseball stayed locked in at No. 3 in Wednesday's NAIA poll. The Warriors are 18-4 entering the second weekend of conference play.
LC State won the first Cascade Conference series of the season 3-1 over Corban. The LC Warriors won 15-5 in game one and dropped game two 7-1 on the first day. In the second twin bill, LC overcame the largest deficit in program history (10 runs) to pull off an 18-14 win before taking the final contest 14-5.
Nick Seamons was voted the CCC Player of the Week after hitting four home runs in the series.
The Warriors rank seventh in the NAIA in slugging percentage (.584), ninth in on-base percentage (.448), 11
th in extra-base hits (103) and 14
th in home runs (38). LC leads the CCC in batting average (.335), slugging and on-base percentage along with home runs.
Seamons is tied for 10
th in the NAIA in home runs (10) and 11
th in slugging percentage (.884). He leads the conference in both categories.
Trevin Hope is 15
th in the NAIA and leads the CCC in ERA (1.88).
College of Idaho is also receiving votes in the national poll.

Warrior Baseball heads north of the border this weekend for a four-game Cascade Conference series at UBC. The Thunderbirds took one of four games earlier this season in non-conference play in Lewiston and were swept by College of Idaho over the weekend to begin CCC action.
