KANSAS CITY, Mo. – LC State Golf's Bryden Brown was voted the NAIA Men's Golfer of the Week for the first time in his career, announced by the national office on Wednesday. The Moscow, Idaho, native is coming off his third straight tournament title after winning the Warrior Invitational.
 
Brown won his third straight tournament via a playoff, this time doing so at home. The sophomore shot rounds of 69, 68, 72 for a 7-under total of 209. He recorded four birdies in each of the three rounds to best the 61-person field in the final Cascade Conference tournament of the regular season. A birdie on the first playoff hole secured his third victory of the season.
 
Brown is the second Warrior to earn NAIA Athlete of the Week honors, joining track and field's Christian Bothwell.
