RESULTS
LEWISTON, Idaho - LC State Men's Golf, receiving votes in the national poll, completed day two of play at the 2026 Cascade Conference Golf Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, on Tuesday at the Lewiston Golf and Country Club. The Warriors improved on their lead from day one with a 4-under-par second round score to take a six-stroke lead over the second-place team, No. 16 British Columbia. Freshman Adam Lovatt maintained a share of the top spot individually while senior Sondre Andresen carded the best round of the day for LC State.
 
"Keeping that lead after day two is always solid work. This group battled through the tougher course conditions," coach Zach Anderson said. "Excited for the opportunity to do it again tomorrow."
 
Lovatt and Andrea Artusini each shot an even-par, 72, on day two. Lovatt is currently tied for first place at 3-under-par through 36 holes and Artusini sits one stroke back of first place in a tie for third.
 
Andresen led the Warriors in the second round with the help of five birdies. He carded a 3-under, 69, in round two to shave eight strokes off his first 18 holes and move into a tie for eighth.
 
Kye Krall shot 1-over, 73, on day two, to also move into a tie for eighth place with Andresen.
 
Junior Luke West shot a smooth 1-under, 71, in round two, which moved him into 12th place overall. He improved from his day one score by five strokes to move up one spot in the standings.
 
UP NEXT
The Warriors return to the Lewiston Golf and Country Club for the final day of the Cascade Conference Golf Championships on Wednesday. Teams will tee off beginning at 8 a.m.
