RESULTS
LA GRANDE, Ore. – The LC State Men's Track and Field distance medley relay opened a busy weekend with a provisional national standard at the EOU Last Chance Indoor on Friday. The day kicked off a weekend of action with the Warrior teams split between two difference meets.
The group of
Tristin O'Brien,
Trenton Johnson,
Griffen Parsells and
Kobe Wessels clocked a raw time of 10:23.65. Once converted due to the smaller track size, the time will sit around 10:11.06 which is a B standard.
Ike Hopper opened his heptathlon with the first four events and sits in fifth with 2,418 points. The senior was third in the 60m dash (7.45) and placed fourth with a PR in long jump (6.25m). He was fifth in the high jump (1.74m) and finished seventh in the shot put with a PR of 9.75m.
Madigan Kelly was on the track for the first time this season and placed second in the prelims of the 60m hurdles (8.95).
Karissa Lindner finished fifth in the 60m dash (8.10).
Jedidiah Barnaby was third in the 60m dash with a time of 6.99.
Jordan Castillo was fourth (7.08) and
Preston Cooper was sixth (7.11).
Perry Severijnse ran a personal-best time of 7.37 to finish 12
th,
Tanner Sibert was 16
th (7.53) and
Max Funk ran a PR time of 7.80 to place 19
th.
In field events,
Grace Osborne led a group of Warrior women in the weight throw where she won with a mark of 14.07m.
Faith Wersland was second (13.47m),
Shayvon Williams was seventh in her collegiate debut (11.57m) and
Hope Zollman hit a PR of 11.49m to place 11
th.
Tanner Beltz-Childs led the men's throwers with a fifth-place finish in the weight throw (11.86m) and
Jr Mendoza was seventh (11.36m).
Brandon Decker was seventh in the pole vault (3.85m).
