NEW ORLEANS, La. – LC State Women's Tennis faced its third straight top 10 team on Saturday in No. 10 Dillard (La.). The Warriors earned one doubles victory but fell 7-0 in the match.
Beatriz Lambru and
Paige Noble-Lucas teamed up for a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles. Dillard took the other two to earn the doubles point.
Noble-Lucas had the strongest singles match for the Warriors. The senior won her first set 6-4 and fell by the same score in the second. She dropped her three-set No. 4 singles contest 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-4).
Naiara Montero picked up seven games in her two-set loss in the fifth spot. She fell 7-5, 6-1.
Gwyn Heim played a competitive No. 6 singles contest before falling 6-2, 6-4.
