RESULTS
PULLMAN, Wash. – A small group of Warrior women represented LC State Track and Field at the Cougar Classic on Saturday.
Haylee Appleford bettered her place in the Warrior record book as one of the highlights of the day.
Appleford bettered her mark in the LC State record book in the shot put with a throw of 12.63m. She placed fifth with the fourth best mark in school history.
Faith Wersland was 12
th (9.88m). Wersland led the group in the hammer (41.64m),
Grace Osborne was 11
th (39.46m), Appleford was 13
th (35.48m) and
Jacklin Linnemeyer was 15
th (32.29m).
Grace McCormick ran a personal best time of 2:31.60 to place ninth in the 800m.
Emily Collins won the 400m at the meet with a time of 57.57.
Jennah Carpenter was 11
th in the 100m (13.25). The pair teamed up with
Karissa Lindner and
Sydnie Zywina to run a time of 3:56.85 in the 4x400m relay to finish second.
Gianna Anderson finished ninth in the javelin with a throw of 34.60m. Lindner was 12
th in the long jump (4.58m).
