SPOKANE, Wash. – Madigan Kelly repeated her national standard in the 60m hurdles to highlight a busy day for LC State Women's Track and Field at the Inland Northwest Invitational.
"We are at that time in our season when some of our aches and pains and injuries, and just the drain of training, start to catch up with us a little bit," coach
Mike Collins said. "Despite that, we did have a few shiny spots today. Madigan continues to be consistent in the hurdles and our women's 4x800m relay just missed hitting the standard for nationals. They are still ranked in the top 10 in the country at this point and we may see them come back and try again before the season is over. Another week in front of us looking forward to the Idaho Invite. We may rest a few for that and try to prepare them for the next meet up here at The Podium."
