RESULTS
SPOKANE, Wash. – Madigan Kelly repeated her national standard in the 60m hurdles to highlight a busy day for LC State Women's Track and Field at the Inland Northwest Invitational.

"We are at that time in our season when some of our aches and pains and injuries, and just the drain of training, start to catch up with us a little bit," coach Mike Collins said. "Despite that, we did have a few shiny spots today. Madigan continues to be consistent in the hurdles and our women's 4x800m relay just missed hitting the standard for nationals. They are still ranked in the top 10 in the country at this point and we may see them come back and try again before the season is over. Another week in front of us looking forward to the Idaho Invite. We may rest a few for that and try to prepare them for the next meet up here at The Podium."

Lewiston's Kelly repeated a B standard in the 60m hurdles with a second-place finish in the event final. She was second in the prelim (8.82) before clocking a time of 8.76 in the last hurdles sprint. Olivia Yetter was 21st in the prelim with a career-best time of 10.64.

The team of Emily Collins, Damaris Kibiwot, Grace Tiegs and Camille Ussher teamed up for a second-place finish in the 4x800m relay. Their time of 9:35.61 ranks fifth in the NAIA this season.

Ussher went on to run a personal-best time of 2:18.67 to finish sixth in the 800m and Tiegs was 10th (2:20.72). Eva Lundgren finished 23rd with a PR of 2:28.64 and Nuala Rollins was 26th (2:29.78).

Senior Faith Wersland threw a PR in the weight throw to lead the Warrior women in the event. She finished 12th (13.71m) with Orofino native Ruby Kessinger in 13th (13.66m). Grace Osborne placed 16th (13.12m) and Haylee Appleford was 20th (12.69m). Hope Zollman (22nd, 12.44m) and Shayvon Williams (28th, 11.44m) both had personal-bests.

Appleford led LC State in the shot put in 13th place (11.26m). Zollman (16th, 10.81m) and Faith Wersland (25th, 9.92m) both hit a PR and Kessinger was 26th (9.92m).

Claire Dooley finished 24th in the 60m dash with a time of 8.12 and Yetter was 47th (9.06). Dooley went on to place 27th in the 200m (27.01), Collins was 12th in the 400m (59.04) and Kailee Lerew was 25th (1:02.25).

Leila Flannery ran a time of 5:46.22 in the mile to finish 26th.
