RESULTS
SPOKANE, Wash. – Seniors Madigan Kelly and Camille Ussher highlighted the final day of the Whitworth Indoor Invitational for LC State Women's Track and Field. Both hit national standards with Kelly doing so in the 60m hurdles and Ussher in the 800m.

"Overall, pretty good weekend with lots of season bests," coach Mike Collins said. "Last time I counted, I think we had at least 24 PRs, and from a coaching standpoint, I don't know how you can really complain about that. The timing couldn't be better either as we approach the last meet of the season in order to try to qualify for indoor nationals. Camille had a really nice run today in the 800m and she also put in a super effort in our 4x400m relay today when I asked her to step up for that."

Kelly clocked a season-best time of 8.68 in the prelims of the 60m hurdles to better her time in the NAIA ranks. Her B standard is the eighth-best in the NAIA this season and was third in the prelim race. She finished fourth in the final (8.70), and Olivia Yetter was 28th in the prelim (10.90). Kelly also led the Warriors in the 60m dash where she placed 11th (7.90) with Claire Dooley in 20th (8.05) and Yetter was 48th (8.91).

Ussher ran the 15th-best time in the NAIA this season in the 800m and now ranks third in the LC State record book. Her time of 2:15.89 earned a third-place finish at the meet and Grace Tiegs rounded out the top 10 with a time of 2:20.48. Kailee Lerew was 19th (2:24.65), Nuala Rollins ran a PR of 2:28.11 to finish 25th and Leila Flannery was 36th (2:35.80). Flannery also ran in the mile where she finished 27th (5:48.34).

Asotin native Haylee Appleford bettered her spot in the record book with the third-best shot put in program history. Her throw of 12.38m earned a fourth-place finish at the meet and Hope Zollman was 11th (10.81m).

Emily Collins earned an 11th-place finish in the 400m (59.31) and Dooley ran a personal-best 200m race to finish 17th (26.37). Damaris Kibiwot finished fifth overall in the invite section of the 3,000m (10:32.75) and Lily Bennett was 20th (11:26.25). Lilly Gilbert finished seventh in the collegiate section of the 3,000m (12:17.04).

The 4x400m relay team of Kelly, Lerew, Collins and Ussher ran a time of 4:00.67 to finish fourth at the meet.
