Warrior Women Cap Regular Season in Boise and Pullman

BOISE, Idaho – LC State Women's Track and Field wrapped up the regular season with competitors at the Ed Jacoby Invitational, hosted by Boise State, and the WSU Invitational on Friday. Madigan Kelly continued to get faster in the 100m hurdles to highlight the day for the Warriors.
 
ED JACOBY INVITATIONAL - Results
Kelly ran a season-best time in the 100m hurdles to finish second at the meet. Her time of 14.07 is a provisional standard for outdoor nationals. Olivia Yetter was 11th (17.02). Kelly went on to place fourth in the 400m hurdles (1:04.30).
 
Shayvon Williams was the top Warrior in the hammer where she placed 21st (35.65m) and Hope Zollman was 22nd (34.03m). She also led LC State in the discus in 14th (33.66m) with Zollman in 16th (32.98m). Zollman led the duo in the shot put in 17th (10.27m) and Williams was 18th (10.05m).
 
Also in throws, Gianna Anderson finished second overall in the javelin with a mark of 38.87m.
 
Nuala Rollins finished fourth in the 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 13:11.72. Kailee Lerew was eighth in the 800m (2:18.60), Camille Ussher was 11th (2:21.22) and Leila Flannery was 14th (2:26.25). Grace Tiegs led the Warriors in the 1,500m where she placed fifth (4:42.52), Lily Bennett was 22nd (5:20.99) and Lilly Gilbert was 24th (5:24.60).
 
Freshman Claire Dooley placed 15th in the 100m (12.75) and 16th in the 200m (26.58). Emily Collins was sixth in the 400m (58.09).
 
The 4x400m relay team of Lerew, Ussher, Kelly and Collins placed fifth (3:59.57).
 
WSU INVITATIONAL - Results
Damaris Kibiwot was in action on the track in both the 1,500m and 800m. She was 14th in the 1,500m (4:49.84) and ninth in the 800m (2:26.43).
 
Grace Osborne finished 12th in the discus (34.99m) and Haylee Appleford led LC State in the shot put. She placed eighth (11.29m) and Faith Wersland was 11th (10.39m).
 
Results for Appleford, Wersland and Osborne in the hammer throw will be available at a later time.
