LEWISTON, Idaho – LC State Volleyball invites Warrior fans, friends and families to help officially serve up the 2026 season at the annual First Serve BBQ on Thursday, Aug. 27, at 6 p.m. inside the Williams Conference Center.
 
The family-friendly event will bring the Warrior Volleyball community together for an evening celebrating the nationally ranked 2026 team before LC State takes the court for its first home match of the season inside the P1FCU Activity Center.
 
"We are so excited for the opportunity to have our fans, friends and families all in the same room before we kick off our first match in the P1FCU Activity Center," Head Coach Katie Palmer said. "There is something special about the people who surround this program, and First Serve gives us a chance to celebrate that community while introducing everyone to this year's Warriors. We hope families come out, wear their Warrior gear and help us start the season together."
 
Guests will have the opportunity to interact with Warrior coaches and student-athletes throughout the evening, take photos with the team and collect autographs on the official 2026 Warrior Volleyball poster.
 
The evening will also feature exclusive silent auction experiences and Warrior items, including opportunities designed specifically for some of the program's youngest fans. Proceeds from the event will support the LC State Volleyball Excellence Fund to enhance the student-athlete experience on and off the court.
 
Tickets are $40 for adults and $15 for children. The event is open to the public, and fans of all ages are encouraged to attend and wear their Warrior gear.
