NAIA TOP 25
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The women of LC State Cross Country will open the 2026 season as the No. 21 team in the NAIA Top 25. The Warriors placed 26
th at nationals last year and return a talented group of runners this season.
Included in the mix for LC State is NAIA All-American
Damaris Kibiwot. She placed 19
th overall at nationals as a sophomore to lead the Warriors. LC bolstered its roster in the offseason with the addition of transfer
Kelsey Plymale who also earned All-American honors in the race with a 21
st-place finish.
LC State is one of four Cascade Conference teams rated in the top 25. College of Idaho checked in at No. 4 and Southern Oregon claimed a spot at No. 10. Eastern Oregon came in just ahead of the Warriors at No. 20.
The 2026 season opens on Sept. 4 when LC State travels to Portland for the Lewis and Clark Cross Country Opener.
