LEWISTON, Idaho – LC State Volleyball opens the 2026 season on Aug. 20 and will put its seasoned roster to the test right away under fourth-year head coach Katie Palmer. Season passes and single-match tickets are on sale now and the full promotions schedule is live online.
 
The Warriors are coming off a historic 2025 campaign that saw the program return to the national tournament for the first time since 2011, and the new schedule will help prepare the program for a return trip. LC State's non-conference slate will pit the Warriors against talented teams from across the country before jumping into Cascade Conference play as part of the best conference in the NAIA.
 
Season passes for all regular-season home matches are available now on lcwarriors.com/tickets, as well as single-match tickets. Last year LC State had one of the best volleyball attendance averages in the NAIA with more than 500 fans in the P1FCU Activity Center. Warrior fans helped fill the gym with more than 1,000 people on multiple occasions.
 
"Our fans have become a huge part of what makes our program so special. In 2025, we had multiple matches with 1,100 or more fans and we are looking to build on that momentum through season ticket holders, individual match promotions and discounted group opportunities," Palmer said. "There has never been a better time to join Warrior Volleyball inside the P1FCU Activity Center and we can't wait to see the stands full again as we chase another memorable season together."
 
LC State will host its Red Rush and 1K Day on Oct. 3 against rival Corban (Ore.) as part of Family Weekend that starts Oct. 2. The Warriors will bring light to the fight against Breast Cancer with Pink Night on Oct. 9, and celebrate LC State's success in its science, technology, engineering and mathematics programs with STEM Night on Oct. 10. "One date every Warrior fan needs to circle on their calendar is our annual 1K Day on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 4 p.m., against Corban University," Palmer explained. "Last season, our annual 1K Day shattered program attendance records with more than 1,300 fans creating one of the best atmospheres in Warrior Volleyball history. This year, we are raising the bar once again by having 1K Day fall on our Red Rush match. Wear your red, bring your family and friends, and help us turn the P1FCU Activity Center into a sea of red for what promises to be one of the most exciting matches of the season."
 
Fans can preview the 2026 Warrior squad at the Blue vs. Red Scrimmage on Aug. 8 at 6 p.m. in the P1FCU Activity Center before the team hits the road for non-counting contests against NCAA Division I Gonzaga (scrimmage) and Montana (exhibition).
 
"Our 2026 non-conference schedule was intentionally built to challenge us early and give our coaching staff every opportunity to learn about this year's team," Palmer explained. "Opening the season against two NCAA Division I programs, both with programs that hold special meaning in my coaching journey, will provide a unique opportunity to evaluate different lineups and see how our athletes respond in high-level competition."
 
The season officially opens on Aug. 20 at Montana Tech's Big Sky Challenge where LC State will face Williams Baptist (Ark.), IU East (Ind.), Carroll (Mont.) and Providence (Mont.). Providence finished the 2025 season as the No. 6 team in the NAIA. The non-conference slate concludes Aug. 28-29 when the Warriors host the Hells Canyon Grand Invitational with a pair of matches against MSU-Northern.
 
"We will face high-quality NAIA opponents including battles with familiar Frontier Conference foes to prepare us for Cascade Conference," Palmer said. "My hope is that by the time Cascade Conference play begins, we'll have a much clearer understanding of our identity, our depth and the lineups that give the Warriors the best chance to compete at the highest level."
 
The CCC schedule starts on Sept. 4 when LC State travels to perennial powerhouse Southern Oregon. After matches at Oregon Tech, Walla Walla (Wash.) and Warner Pacific (Ore.), the Warriors host their first home conference event on Sept. 18 against The Evergreen State (Wash.).
 
LC State will host six CCC matches in October with matchups against Bushnell (Ore.), Corban (Ore.), OIT, SOU, Walla Walla and Warner Pacific. Both Corban and Bushnell joined LC State in the final NAIA Top 25 last year, along with Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho. The Warriors close out the regular season at home against C of I and EOU Nov. 6-7.
 
The 2026 Cascade Conference Volleyball Championship, presented by U.S. Bank is set for Nov. 10-14. NAIA Opening Rounds will be held on Nov. 21 and play at the final site in Sioux City, Iowa, is scheduled for Dec. 2-8.
