Box Score LEWISTON, IDAHO – Brittany Tackett scored 20 points and grabbed 10 boards and the Warriors shot 45 percent from the floor as LCSC defeated Rocky Mountain 64-54 Thursday night to continue their streak with their 22nd consecutive win.
 
The Battlin' Bears gave all they could but the Warriors shot 65 percent in the third quarter to help give breathing room. With the win, LCSC improves to 22-0 overall and 10-0 in the Frontier Conference. Rocky Mountain falls to 10-11 on the season and 2-7 in conference play.
 
Tackett scored the first bucket of the game just 10 seconds in. The Battlin' Bears quickly rushed the court to equalize in the early going. Rocky Mountain would lead 11-9 with 3:13 left in the first before the Warriors went on a 12-5 run to end the quarter.
 
Both teams were trading field goals in the second quarter. The Warriors and Battlin' Bears each scored 11 points, preserving LCSC's 3-point lead heading into halftime. The Warriors were shot an uncharacteristic 39 percent from the floor in the first two periods.
 
The Warriors finally found some distance from Rocky Mountain in the third. Megan Risinger kick started a  9-0 run, giving the Warriors a 12-point lead. The Battlin' Bears attempted their comeback in the fourth but it wasn't enough to dethrone the Warriors from the undefeated ranks.
 
Brooke Litalien scored 11 points for the Warriors. Hailey Turner went 4-of-6 from the field for eight points. LC outscored the Battlin' Bears 26-18 in the paint.
 
LC returns to Frontier Conference action on Saturday as they take on University of Montana-Western.
